Novel Thermal Recycling Regime for Gasification
Highly optimized for low tar, wide fuel flexibility and compact form factors
When asked to scale up All Power Lab's (APL) gasification technology 10x, I started from scratch to solve some of the perennial problems native to APL technology and gasification in general. My goal was to fit 1 ton an hour of material throughput in a 20' shipping container for producing gas for power production or biochar.
There is a lot I could say to describe what I did and why, however what is salient is
- Large, risky, esoteric projects inspire me to invent
- This architecture was adopted as APL's new standard over the 10 year old arrangement employed before
- This system represents a major advancement in design for gasification/pyrolysis
