The world's cleanest, most efficient biomass cookstove. Gold Standard A-rated. Took it from raw problem statement through mass production. Thousands deployed across Kenya.
Swirl Hearth Gasifier
Asked to scale gasification 10x, I started from scratch. Created a novel architecture solving perennial problems. Adopted as APL's new standard, replacing a decade-old design.
Powertainer
150 kW of electricity from forestry waste. Took over a project the team had nearly given up on. Solved cascading issues under a tight grant deadline.
Chartainer
Highly advanced biochar production unit. Rethought the entire gasification architecture from hearth to flare.
Pressure Relief Valves
Redesigned high-temperature pressure relief for biomass systems. Handles repeated thermal events reliably at a fraction of the cost of previous designs.
Refractory Sheet Metal Assembly
A method for building high-temperature combustion elements from sheet metal. Simple, rebuildable, inexpensive — and resists thermal warping.
Electric Cookstove for Africa
Second-life EV batteries + induction cooktops. The grid only sees charging current. Cooking continues when the power goes out.
Gasification System Architecture
Novel thermal recycling regime for low tar, wide fuel flexibility. Adopted as All Power Labs' core technology architecture.
